Cheaper Natural Health Food

By Anonymous

Would cheaper natural health food help your retirement plans? Do you know that processed food is slowly poisoning you but you don't know how to cook? Perhaps you are cooking some food, but you don't think you are getting enough vitamins and minerals? Did you know that men used to die when they retired - literally bored to death?

Baby boomers are much more sensible. We look forward to an active interesting life. It has been proved that brain deterioration (unless you get a brain disease) is caused by boredom. So if you can't cook, now is the chance to learn healthy cooking. Not only will improved health make you enjoy life more (who would want to live another hundred years as an invalid?) but it will give you a new experience, which helps slow down the brain deterioration that was mistakenly believed to go with getting older.

Are you worried that you can't afford healthy food? If you read this article about health food waste you will realize that you are wasting most of the money that you spend on healthy food recipes.

Did you know that milk can be bad for your teeth? The inside of your teeth is soft, and needs calcium, which you can get from milk. The hard outside of your teeth is hard, and needs magnesium. As far as I know, milk is the only natural source of calcium that doesn't have a good balance of magnesium in it. I suppose that might be logical, because the mother doesn't want her young one to have strong teeth while suckling.

Green vegetables are better. One serving of cabbage has more calcium than a glass of milk. What about vitamin C? Well, here is another chance for you to stop brain deterioration from boredom. Most of the vitamin C is in the skins, so start eating the skins. If someone gives you potatoes, peel them and throw away the white part, eating the skins. The skins are loaded with nutrients, but the white stuff will just make you fat.

But why stop with stuff from the greengrocer? You want new experiences? Have you tried eating witchetty grubs, or locusts, or earthworms? Have you lost blood yet from scratches while you harvest blackberries from the wild?

Try my gardening motto - If you can't beat them, eat them. Learn to cook nettles and sow thistle and purslane and other weeds from your garden, and get a good French recipe for cooking snails. You will never run out of your supply of free snail protein, which is a good natural health food.

Some shops give you fish heads freely for the taking. You'll be surprised how much flesh is still on the heads after boiling. Find some healthy recipes for cooking offal. Get a sheep's head and make sheep's-head-brawn. It's delicious, may be a new experience for you, and is usually very cheap.
