Baby Boomers Romance Tips For Enjoying Life Together
Thursday, December 27th, 2007Keeping the flame of love burning seems to be a nightmare for couples all over
the world today. The divorce rate is higher today than it has ever been with
one in three marriages ending unceremoniously in divorce. Values have changed
and marriage seems to mean very little to some people.
However, the chances are that if you have been with your husband or wife for
some years then the likelihood is that you won’t be heading to court anytime
soon. That is not to say that it is any easier keeping romance alive and many
baby boomers seek out romance tips to try and keep things interesting.
When it comes to retirement, you’ll be spending a lot more time with
your spouse, which can be hard after years of spending time at work and thus
away from each other. It is important to start working towards getting to know
each other again and putting touch of romance back into your lives rather than
leaving it until you both retire. The following romance tips can really help,
so get in the mood!
Romance Tip One
Set aside one day a week to spend together. If you spend time around each other
with nobody else there then you’ll get to know each other again.
Romance Tip Two
Ban the TV from your day or evening. Without the TV to distract you, you’ll
have to talk to each other. Spend time reminiscing about the good times you’ve
had together and the love will come rushing back.
Romance Tip Three
Get creative! Dinner and a movie is all well and good but it gets boring after
a while so put some spice back into your life by having a candlelit dinner at
home, or writing each other a poem. Just think outside the box and do something
that you don’t usually do!
Romance Tip Four
Finally, make an effort! If you both make an effort then the romance will return
or remain, but if one of you cannot be bothered then what is the point of the
relationship?
